As we await the challenge among the world’s best mountain runners, on Saturday, July 26, 2025, we open a window onto the future of the discipline:

the champions of tomorrow will take the start at the GIIR DI MONT YOUNG!

The race will unfold along the trails of Premana:

• Category 2012–2015: 1.4 km with 65 m of positive elevation gain

• Category 2008–2011: 2.9 km with 140 m of positive elevation gain

The course has been designed by the athletics coaches of A.S. Premana to be suitable for each age group, while remaining technically complete and well balanced.

Young runners will get the chance to experience the atmosphere of the Giir di Mont, before one day taking part in the main race themselves.

Registration will take place on site up to 30 minutes before the start.

Parental authorization will be required, and each participant will receive a race gadget.

Winners, divided by category, will be awarded during the gala evening of the 31st edition of the Giir di Mont.

• 3:00 PM – GIIR DI MONT YOUNG (Piazza della Chiesa – Via Roma 1, Premana)

• 8:00 PM – Gala evening (Piazza della Chiesa – Via Roma 1, Premana): “Waiting for the Giir di Mont”.

The evening includes: presentation of the Top Runners, awards ceremony for the Giir di Mont Young, and a celebratory event for the 31st edition with some of the race’s past winners.
