Access to the village will be limited to residents and/or vehicles with a valid pass.
For those arriving by car, a shuttle bus service will be available starting at 6:00 am from the Giabbio industrial area (used as a parking lot, about 1 km from Premana).
Once the industrial area parking is full, cars will be directed to the hospitality school (CFPA) in Casargo (Piazzo locality, Casargo), where the shuttle service will also be available.
Estimated shuttle bus waiting time: approx. 20 minutes.
Private buses may park in the Giabbio industrial area (about 1 km from Premana). To ensure parking availability, we recommend that bus drivers notify the organization in advance, which will reserve a spot.
The shuttles will drop passengers off about 200 m from the race start/finish area, which is easily reachable on foot.
For the return at the end of the race, the shuttle service will start at 1:00 pm.
⚠️ Note: Those who park in the industrial area may walk back to their car along the mule track that descends near the cemetery, close to the sports hall and the oratory sports center (approx. 15 minutes on foot).
The time needed to walk the mule track is about the same as reaching the shuttle bus pick-up point, where unfortunately queues are expected due to high demand.
🍴 The buffet lunch set up at the Palasole (via Papa Luciani 2 – Premana) for athletes will also be available at a reduced price for non-participants.
Where we are
Premana can be easily reached from Brianza and Milan in about one hour by car, and from the eastern shore of Lake Como in just 20 minutes, following these two road routes:
- Coming from Brianza and Milan, passing through Lecco, take the Ss 36 dir on the new Lecco-Ballabio tunnel and then continue from Ballabio on the provincial road 62. Drive along the entire Valsassina for about 28 km until Taceno, the gateway to Alta Valsassina, where the winding but convenient provincial road 67 leads to Premana.
- Driving along the lake on the Ss 36 of Lake Como and Spluga, either towards Lecco or towards Valtellina, take the Bellano exit and continue left towards Taceno (about 8 km away), then continue as above.
